Competitive Auditions
KaliAndrews Dance Company is home to one of the greatest competitive dance programs in Ottawa! Our team has competed across the region, taking home countless trophies, choreography awards, costume awards, and more. Not only does our team love to compete, but most importantly, they love to share their love for dance while they are having fun!
KADC holds annual auditions for The Elite Competitive Team. Many candidates will audition, but there are a limited number of spots for acceptance each year. Dancers who do not meet the competitive standard at the time of the audition are highly encouraged to continue their training while focusing on technique and personal growth within our recreational programs. How Can I Prepare For Auditions?
Audition classes are much like any typical dance class. Dancers will start with a warm-up, some across the floor content, and then work to learn a combo to present to our judging panel at the end of the class. We encourage all prospective competitive dancers to participate in at least one of our Summer Programs to aid in their preparation for their audition. You can read more about our
