KADC Dancers Perform for Thousands at WE Day Ottawa

Our dancers took the stage in front of a stadium of 16,000 inspirational youth and world-renowned speakers!

On November 9th, KaliAndrews Dance Company was invited to perform at the 2016 WE Day celebration at the Canadian Tire Centre. Our dancers took the stage in front of a stadium of 16,000 inspirational youth and world-renowned speakers including Justin Trudeau and Rick Hansen, as well as performers like Headley, Classified, Serena Ryder and more.

It was such an incredible experience for our dancers to be introduced to the crowd by award-winning choreographer, dancer and singer Paula Abdul. KADC dancers performed their very own unique choreography set to Justin Bieber’s song Children and led the stadium in learning the WE Day Dance.

WE Day is a celebration of youth making a difference in their local and global communities. WE Schools is the yearlong program that nurtures compassion in young people and gives them the tools to create transformational social change.

WE Day is a powerful, life-changing event that combines the energy of a live concert with the inspiration of extraordinary stories of leadership and change. The event brings together world-renowned speakers and award-winning performers with tens of thousands of young people to celebrate their contributions and kick-start another year of change.

It was an honour to perform at such an inspirational event, and the dancers at KaliAndrews Dance Company are so thrilled and grateful to have been a part of WE Day!
